Purdue researchers receive grant to improve mobile testing for anemia

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The National Institutes of Health Fogarty International Center has awarded Purdue University’s Young Kim, associate professor with the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, and Md Munirul Haque, research scientist with the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, and their interdisciplinary research team, a $385,000, two-year grant to improve mobile testing for anemia in resource-limited settings.
